802.11bn RU n (Band n)

This topic applies to the following Generation Mode:

Click on a property in the image to jump to its description.

1. Resource Unit Settings

RU Index

The index for each resource unit.

RU State

Enable/disable the Resource Unit (RU).

RuSize

Get the RU/MRU size.

The instrument must have at least the equivalent bandwidth to allow the waveform to be successfully transmitted.

Band

Get the index of the first 20-MHz subband where the RU/MRU is located.

Number of Total Spatial Streams (Nss,total)

This is information indicating the total number of spatial streams of current Resource Unit, which is equal to the sum of the Nss for each user.

User Number

Get the number of users of current Resource Unit.

2. Spatial Mapping

Spatial Mapping Matrix

A dialog appears for setting the contents of the spatial mapping matrix.

User #

The index for each user.

Nss

Set the number of Spatial Streams used by current user. Its maximum value is 8 for Single User, while it's 4 for Multi User MIMO. ELR PPDU only supports one spatial stream.

Mcs Index

Select the MCS Index. Please note that UHR-MCS 14 is only applied for UHR MU PPDU Compress Mode, bandwidth is greater than or equal to 80 MHz, no preamble puncture exist, and Nss = 1. MCS 15 is only applied for Nss,u= 1,and not supported over MRU 2x996+484 and MRU 3x996+484.

Channel Coding Mode

Select the Channel Coding mode, which could be BCC encoding and LDPC encoding.
